This week's visit to Material Connexions was a fruitful review of sustainable materials and processes being developed for a healthier and more cyclical future.

While most materials showcased here were hard building and packaging materials, I was still able to find some things to inspire my soft robotics explorations, especially my embroidery and fiber work.

The time has come. The time for final project proposals.
The dreaded planning period, but also the time to dream big before we rescope over the next few weeks as finals week comes around.
I had contemplated combining my final project for Code Your Way with another class's final. However, I ultimately decided to stay true to my original goal for class, which was to learn to build my own site.

This week's assignment:

​Create an example 1) using onboard pressure sensing OR 2) attach an sensor for interaction OR 3) use a sensor for feedback OR 4) connecting 2 boards to build more functionality

"A helper function is a function that performs part of the computation of another function." Is quite the tongue twisting, logic complicating, and brain hurting definition/explanation, but also could not describe it any better than that...

Anyway, thats what I did with this weeks assignment to refactor the pre-loader I made at the beginning of the semester.
