This block of ICM covered sound and creating sound computationally.

I do not have much music training, and only understand a little bit of the physical properties of sound. So this assignment was rather challenging to approach not knowing what to do and how to even begin the approach it. Even though we discussed a lot in class.

The simplest way for me to start was to start somewhere familiar and play with rhythm then add reverb to create something interesting.

This week was very VERY productive. In prototyping, testing, and emotional rollercoaster-ing.

I've successfully built a prototype model, tested scale, evaluated the feasibility of the pepper's ghost effect with some lighting options. And most importantly - built a mechanism to simulate the sun so sun beams cast through the window. 

For this final assignment, I want to make a combined project between Hypercinema and Pcomp. 

I'm interested in exploring our individual relationships with time and how fleeting it feels when we are focused on the task at hand.

Through the transformation of the objects in a scene, we can explore the speed in which time is flying by depending on "where you linger".

A couple questions to think about in preparation for out Hypercinema final project - A Cornell Box.

Not just any Cornell Box, a digital Cornell Box with animation and interactivity.

So this begs the question - What does interactivity mean? and how would that be applied to our project?

Can we make Van Gogh's Starry Night come to life and twinkle?
Shouldn't be too challenging, considering the color palette consists of mostly blues and yellows, right?
